What are yours?
Hi, I'm Bianca, founder of Praino Careers.
After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a Sociology degree, I had no idea what I wanted to do, but I did know I wanted to experience working and living internationally. So after some research into my options, I enrolled on an intensive English language teaching course and obtained my CELTA and before I knew it, I was on a plane to South Korea to teach English. I worked in Seoul for one year and then moved to Hong Kong, where I initially taught English before moving into a recruitment role with a private education training establishment. In 2014, I moved back to Edinburgh to undertake a PGDiploma in Career Guidance and Development and worked as a career consultant in an international college, secondary school and a university before setting up Praino Careers. Having lived and worked in different countries, I have an innate desire to help others who want to do the same. I am on a mission to make job searching easier for international candidates and help them get the results they want and deserve.
Having worked with clients from all over the world, I understand all too well the challenges and barriers foreign nationals face with navigating their career in a UK context.
My advice is to stop wasting time with your job search, and invest in the right resources and advice to significantly increase your chances and start making progress to achieve your UK goal.
